The Astar Corwdloan Event was launched on November 5th on Polkadot. We’re very excited about the auctions on Polkadot, this is what we have been waiting for for over 2 years now. Astar is ready to become the best smart contract parachain in the Polkadot ecosystem. Astar just passed the 2M DOT milestone and is ready for the upcoming inflow from unbonded DOT’s.

In the above chart, you can see the inflow of unbonded DOT’s that will be joining the auctions on Polkadot. A great way to test our bonus scheme where you as a contributor can earn up to 31%! Tomorrow the warm-up bonus will end at Binance! During the warm-up bonus, Astar allocated 1% of the total initial supply to the pool for the Binance community. DOT Strong Holder bonus

• Background. When we create this bonus structure, no one knows how many DOTs we will collect from the community. And, now we found that we may have some leftovers of Bonus Pool with the current pace of contribution. So, we decided to use this for the DOT Strong Holder bonus (to win). If we win, then everybody is a winner!

Our main objective is winning a parachain slot during the first batch of the Polkadot auctions. We added an extra bonus for those who stake a minimum of 10,000 DOTs in our Crowdloan. Shiden This week we exceeded 6,000,000 SDN staked in dApp staking! Are you new and want to know more about dApp staking? Let me give you a short introduction. Instead of staking to validators, users can choose to nominate their SDN (later ASTR) tokens on projects. Users can earn staking rewards and at the same time support their favorite project. By doing so, the projects will also earn a basic income for building in our ecosystem.
